Meeting women or men isn't hard. I have Aspergers for gods sake and have still managed to land myself a certifiably hot wife half my age.
I suggest that you write down what it is that you want from or in a relationship.
It makes serious sense to actually list what is important to you as a person, your values, your goals, children a musthave or not. For a start taking the time to actually discover what is important to you in both the long and short term won't hurt anyone a jot. I meditate on a daily basis, so I guess introspection is very much something I'm into. But take a long, hard look at yourself, discover what it is that makes you tick and then write it down, put it into a spreadsheet. Leave it for a while, then re-read it. If after about 6 months of thinking about these things the list is fundamentally the same then there is a very good chance that this is what you are about as a person.
So when I began looking for my wife I mentally wrote this list (NB: I have never met an Aspergers who was at all unsure about what it was that they were as a person or where they wanted to be. We may lack the diagnosis of Aspergers, but we never are anything other than completely confident of what we want in life.)
- High sex drive.
- Must be at least my intellectual equal...I was dying to have a real conversation with someone.
- Must be younger than me, not much older than 35...still vaguely considering the option of children.
- Must be Asian/Non-Anglo....haven't really found all that many Anglo-Saxon women that attractive over the years. Lots of seriously fuckable Mediterraneans, Indians, Southeast and Eastern Asians and African women, but vanishingly few Anglos rang my bell.
- Non nagging.
- Non Depressive,
Our son is 14 months old.
