Relationship Advice...or How to meet the Woman of Your Dreams

Meeting women or men isn't hard. I have Aspergers for gods sake and have still managed to land myself a certifiably hot wife half my age.
I suggest that you write down what it is that you want from or in a relationship.
It makes serious sense to actually list what is important to you as a person, your values, your goals, children a musthave or not. For a start taking the time to actually discover what is important to you in both the long and short term won't hurt anyone a jot. I meditate on a daily basis, so I guess introspection is very much something I'm into. But take a long, hard look at yourself, discover what it is that makes you tick and then write it down, put it into a spreadsheet. Leave it for a while, then re-read it. If after about 6 months of thinking about these things the list is fundamentally the same then there is a very good chance that this is what you are about as a person.
So when I began looking for my wife I mentally wrote this list (NB: I have never met an Aspergers who was at all unsure about what it was that they were as a person or where they wanted to be. We may lack the diagnosis of Aspergers, but we never are anything other than completely confident of what we want in life.)
  1. High sex drive.
  2. Must be at least my intellectual equal...I was dying to have a real conversation with someone.
  3. Must be younger than me, not much older than 35...still vaguely considering the option of children.
  4. Must be Asian/Non-Anglo....haven't really found all that many Anglo-Saxon women that attractive over the years. Lots of seriously fuckable Mediterraneans, Indians, Southeast and Eastern Asians and African women, but vanishingly few Anglos rang my bell.
  5. Non nagging.
  6. Non Depressive,
With these things firmly in mind, I went looking. I was patient. For five years every woman I met was considered as a possibility. I never really dated anyone, but I did get a sense of them as people. Eventually...five years later, I met my wife. I asked questions, she obliged me to wait for almost 8 weeks before having so much as a kiss, by which time I was seriously in love with her. We took the time to get to know each other...it turns out she had her list as well.
Our son is 14 months old.
